Pain au Chocolat

2-Ingredient Pain au Chocolat

 

Ingredients:

 

-1 package pre-made croissant dough

-1 5 oz. dark vegan chocolate bar, thinly sliced/shaven

 

Directions:

 

  1. Open can of croissant dough. Dough should be rolled in two halves. Each half has four triangles

  2. Unroll one half of the dough until dough is a long, flat rectangle. Separate that rectangle in half

  3. The dough should have a perforated line going diagonally across the rectangle. Using your fingers, press the dough together until you have one solid rectangle

  4. Place about a 1 tablespoon of the chocolate on the bottom half of rectangle, leaving about 1 inch from the bottom 

  5. Roll the dough into a log, up and over the chocolate, from bottom to top

  6. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until golden brown

 

Yields 4 croissants
