Vegan Garlic-Parmesan and Buffalo Wings

Vegan Garlic-Parmesan and Buffalo Wings

 

Ingredients:

 

-1 package Vegan Chicken Wings (I used Verisoy’s “Vegan Smoked Chicken Drumsticks”)

-Non-Stick Spray

 

Directions:

 

  1. Preheat your appliance of choice to 400º F (I used an air fryer)

  2. Spray wings with the non-stick spray

  3. Cook for 7-10 minutes, turning midway through, until winds are brown and crispy

 

Garlic-Parmesan Seasoning

 

-1/4 cup Raw Cashews

-4 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast

-2 tablespoons Garlic, minced (jarred works best here)

-1 tablespoon Salt-Free Garlic and Herb Seasoning

-1 tablespoon Dried Parsley

-2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

-Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Directions:

 

  1. Finely chop the cashews using a sharp knife. The cashew pieces should be about the texture of coarse sea salt. About 3/4 of the way through, add half of the nutritional yeast and chop it into the cashews. You can forgo this step by using a blender

  2. In a small bowl combine the cashew-nutritional yeast mixture, the remainder of the nutritional yeast, and the rest of the ingredients. Adjust to taste and preference. The final result should be a wet paste

 

For the Garlic-Parmesan Wings:

 

  1. Reheat your appliance of choice to 400º F (your wings should already be cooked but you will have continue cooking them after the Garlic-Parmesan mixture is applied) 

  2. Liberally coat the wings (I used three, about half the package) in the mixture

  3. Place the wings flat on the baking tray or in the air fryer that you are using. Apply a generous amount of the mixture to each wing

  4. Cook for an additional 4-7 minutes or until the Garlic-Parmesan coating is golden brown

 

Buffalo Sauce

 

-6 tablespoons Frank’s Red Hot Sauce

-1 tablespoon butter (or more depending on how hot you want it)

-1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

 

Directions:

 

  1. Add the hot sauce to a small sauce pan and heat on medium-high heat

  2. When hot sauce is hot, add the butter and garlic powder. Stir until the butter is melted

 

For the Buffalo Wings

 

  1. Move your sauce to a container with a lid

  2. Place your desired amount of wings in the container and tightly seal the lid

  3. Shake the container until the wings are fully coated in the sauce

 

Vegan Ranch

 

Ingredients:

 

-3 tablespoons Vegan Mayo

-1 tablespoon Garlic, minced (jarred works best here)

-1 tablespoon Pickle Juice

-1 tablespoon Dried Parsley

-Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Directions:

 

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well
