Vegan Bang Bang Tofu

Bang Bang Tofu

 

Ingredients:

 

-1 16 oz. pack of Previously Frozen Firm Tofu, defrosted

-1 cup Corn Starch

-3/4 cup plant milk

-1 cup Bang Bang Sauce (recipe below)

The Following Seasonings to Taste:

-Old Bay Seasoning

-Black Pepper

-Garlic Powder

-Dried Thyme

-Oil for Frying

 

Directions:

 

  1. Thoroughly squeeze the water out of the tofu. Then, gently rip it into small, bite-sized pieces. Season the tofu liberally

  2. Place the corn starch into a shallow bowl and season with the same seasonings you used for the tofu

  3. Dip the tofu pieces into the milk and then into the corn starch and coat well

  4. Heat the oil on medium high heat. Fry the tofu pieces until golden brown

  5. Place the fried pieces in a large bowl and coat with the bang bang sauce.

 

 

Bang Bang Sauce

 

Ingredients:

 

-1/2 cup Vegan Mayo

-3/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce

-1/2 cup Sriracha

-1/4 cup Sesame Oil

-1 tablespoon Garlic, minced

The Following Seasonings to Taste:

-Seasoning Salt

-Black Pepper

 

Directions:

 

  1. Place all the ingredients into a small bowl. Stir well to combine.
