Vegan Jerk Chicken

 

Ingredients

 

-6-8 ounces Vegan Chicken (I used Verisoy Vegan Smoked Chicken Drumsticks)

-2 heaping tablespoons Jerk Seasoning (wet, in a jar; I used Walkerswood Mild Seasoning)

-1/2 teaspoon Jamaican Browning

-1/2 teaspoon Liquid Smoke 

-2 tablespoons Oil of Choice

-1 tablespoon Dried Thyme

-1 tablespoon Salt-Free Garlic and Herb Seasoning

-1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt

-1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

-1 teaspoon Black Pepper

-Non-Stick Spray 

Optional:

-2 heaping tablespoons Walkerswood Jamaican Jerk BBQ Sauce

-1 Tablespoon Water

 

Directions

 

  1. Preheat Oven to 350º

  2. Using clean hands, combine all ingredients (except the optional ones) in a medium bowl. Mix well

  3. Spray an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet with non-stick spray and place chicken pieces on the tray. Do not discard the left over seasoning

  4. Bake chicken pieces until chicken is crisp and brown in color (about 20-30 minutes). Be sure to turn the pieces halfway through

  5. Optional: mix water and BBQ with the leftover seasoning. When chicken pieces have about ten minutes remaining, coat the pieces with the mixture
