So I have been talking about Poznań a lot. But of course I have! Not only was it the best trip that I took this year, it was also the reason I started this blog. I wanted to document my experiences (and thoughts) and share them with an audience. My trip to Poznań, as I said before, will always have a special place in my heart.
Poznań is a city for vegans. There are PLENTY of vegan restaurants, which was surprising to me. Although Poznań is a relatively big city sitting at 500,000 people, I never expected to have so much choice. Because of my great surprise, I wanted to share some of my all time favorite meals I had while in Poland. While I did not visit every vegan restaurant in Poznań, the following three restaurants are some I have been thinking about since I left. I honestly cannot wait to go back!
WYPAS
WYPAS was the first restaurant I went to in Poznań. Although it was my second day in the city, I had a rehearsal the night before and the restaurant I wanted to go to was closed. Starting the next day off with another rehearsal, I headed to WYPAS excited for my first real meal in Poland.
The first thing one notices about WYPAS is its beautiful, quaint curb-appeal. It is decorated beautifully with greenery almost taking over the outside of the building. WYPAS is a small restaurant that is tucked away in the basement of an apartment building.
