On December 31, 2019, I sat in Watch Night service (a service held on New Year’s Eve) excited for what the New Year would have to offer. My pastor told us that 2020 would be a movie. I had no idea he meant a thriller.
2020 has been challenging. What started out as a year filled with hope quickly gave way to unimaginable deaths, bad news, and now the Corona Virus. I know, I know, we are all tired of hearing about this virus. It is all everyone is talking about. But can you blame them? What began as something small and nothing to worry about has transpired into the closing of everything. And even though we are all trying to balance the amount of information we are taking in, I think you’ll like how this post will end. Is it about “The Rona”? Yes, but in a different way.
Last weekend, I had to travel for an audition. This was before everything looks the way it does now. They were warning against traveling on cruise ships but were telling us that planes were okay as long as you take the appropriate precautions. We’ve heard them all: wash your hands and don’t touch your face. I was apprehensive to go but went anyway as I really wanted this opportunity. The funny thing is, the measures I took on planes that my fellow passengers found funny and interesting before, like whipping down my seat with Clorox wipes and using hand sanitizer, were the norm this time traveling...Read the rest HERE!
